Security

Your shipment data, kept separate and kept yours

Container lists, invoices and release documents are commercially sensitive. Here is plainly how CargoIQ handles them.

Your workspace is separated at the database

Every record carries its workspace, and access rules are enforced by the database itself rather than by screens. One company cannot read, change or delete another company's containers, documents or settings.

Roles limit what each person can do

Administrators manage the team, rules and costs. Operations managers import data and work exceptions. Viewers can read but change nothing. Invitations are tied to the invited address and expire.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

All traffic uses HTTPS, and stored data and uploaded documents are encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. Documents are scoped to the workspace that uploaded them.

Accounts are protected

Sign-up requires email confirmation, passwords are checked against known breach lists, and anonymous access is disabled. Sign-in through Google is available.

Actions leave a trail

Imports, analysis runs, acknowledgements, chases and outcome entries are recorded with who did them and when, so a disputed charge can be reconstructed.

Your data stays yours

You own the shipment data you supply. You can export it, and an administrator can clear a workspace entirely. We do not sell it or share it with other customers.
